The chewing ball machine

I run into this all-American Beaver Chewing ballmachine on the weekend before (the Dutch national present-giving event)Sinterklaas in a second hand store and it was love at first sight. Whether itworked or not, they could not tell me. Nevertheless I took the risk and boughtit. The item reminded me  -off course- Icould not resist. If it worked,  theycould not tell me but nevertheless I took the risk and bought it. The item remindedme of my uncle Joost (R.I.P.). He had house full of jukeboxes, pin machines,chewing ball & candy machines. In our childhood me and my brother got  buckets full of coins to play the machinesthe whole afternoon. It was heaven! The chewing ball machine I bought remindsme of those days. Sometimes you don’t just buy a vintage item: you keep awonderful vintage memory alive with it.
